The Best of Farmacy Beauty | Clean Beauty Review

The Best of Farmacy Beauty | Clean Beauty Review

Farmacy Beauty is one of my all-time favorite clean beauty brands. I love both the ethos behind the company and what their products have done for my skin, and I thought I’d share some of my favorites from the brand.

Farmacy partners with local and organic farms around the world to source clean, natural ingredients sustainably. Thanks to their science-backed formulas, their products are non-toxic, natural, and effective.

Farmacy products are free from parabens, formaldehyde, synthetic fragrances, pthalate, and mineral oil, and are cruelty-free. They’re mostly vegan, with the exception being honey in some of their products.

My Favorite Farmacy Beauty Products

The Best of Farmacy Beauty | Clean Bee Cleanser Review

Clean Bee – ultra gentle facial cleanser | $28

I’m on my fourth or fifth bottle of this stuff. It is liquid gold! I have combination normal/oily skin and this cleanser does the job without stripping my skin of moisture. It’s the only foaming cleanser I’ve used that doesn’t leave my skin feeling dry. Also, it smells like honey, which is an absolute delight.

If you have acne-prone skin, including fungal acne, this cleaner is an absolute must.

The Best of Farmacy Beauty | Green Clean Makeup Remover Review

Green Clean – makeup removing cleansing balm | $34

This is my all-time favorite makeup remover! It doesn’t sting my eyes and it removes everything, including waterproof mascara.

The product is indeed a lovely pale green color. It’s a solid at room temperature, which is super convenient for travel because it doesn’t spill. Once it warms up on your skin, it melts right in, and it rinses off easily with water, without leaving any oily residue. Oh, and it has a fresh, citrusy smell that I love!

Note: I love that Farmacy offers the Clean Bee cleanser and Green Clean makeup remover at a discounted price if you buy the set!

The Best of Farmacy Beauty | Honeymoon Glow Review

Honeymoon Glow – AHA resurfacing night serum | $58

A chemical exfoliant is a must for any skincare routine, but the key is to not overdo it. The Honeymoon exfoliant has a high concentration of AHAs – 12% – so tread lightly, but it is quite effective and helps clear my skin and fight breakouts.

I use this on my oily areas (forehead, mostly, and sometimes the center of my face) about three times a week. More often than that, and my skin gets dried out from over-exfoliating. A little goes a long way, so this product has lasted me a long time.

The Best of Farmacy Beauty | Honey Potion Mask Review

Honey Potion – renewing antioxidant hydration mask | $38

OK, can we talk about the packaging??? The bottle is adorable and makes me feel like a secret princess living in a cottage, where I sing to birds and the bees make face masks out of honey just for me.

The mask smells like honey, of course, and goes on sticky like you might expect but then lathers a bit with some friction. It makes my skin tingle in a really pleasant way. The mask is moisturizing and leaves my face super soft, and the honey has antimicrobial properties to fight blemishes.

The Best of Farmacy Beauty | Dew It All Eye Cream Review

Dew It All Total – eye cream | $38

When I ran out of my last eye cream (it was from Biossance and it was like $54!!!), I Googled, “is eye cream really necessary?” I read some opinions from dermatologists and decided, begrudgingly, that I would rather shell out an unreasonable sum of money for a tiny amount of product than suffer premature eye wrinkles, because I am vain.

At $38, Farmacy’s eye cream is actually on the more affordable side of the spectrum for eye creams. I know…it’s still ridiculous for less volume than the dollop of sour cream you get in a Chipotle burrito bowl. Although I’m using this preventatively rather than to see immediate results, I like that it’s easy to apply and keeps my undereye area moisturized so that it’s not flaky when I use concealer.

There you have it – my Farmacy skincare staples! I have yet to be disappointed by a Farmacy product, so I’m eager to try out more whenever the need arises. Shop Farmacy here.

In the meantime, feel free to give me a shout on Instagram, where I also do reviews of skincare (but mostly post pictures of cute outfits and my cats).

Instagram post 17879146526320943 I haven’t been feeling super inspired lately, but I put on this fit and realized I just needed to dress like a rainbow snow cone 🌸

sweater and skirt from @nuuly, a rental subscription that I’m trying out (gifted). so far, I’ve found that it’s a good way to try out styles I would be too afraid to buy, or to wear trendy pieces I wouldn’t usually invest in bc ✨slow fashion✨. the clothes do come with more wear than I expected, but I like that they dry clean and repair for you.

one thing I’ve realized this year is that the world will always seem to punish you for taking a break, because ✨capitalism✨. our society, our workplaces, social media are structured to make you feel like you’re falling behind if you aren’t constantly doing something. but rest is its own reward, and that’s a lesson I’m still trying to internalize.

Instagram post 17867289293458997 #ad // raise your hand if you’ve been personally victimized by your period 🙋🏻‍♀️⁣
⁣
period panties have completely changed my relationship to my period! I feel ✨free✨ while secure from leaks, and combined with my menstrual cup, I haven’t had to use disposable tampons or pads in years.⁣
⁣
@periodaisle recently launched a thong style that’s perfect for light days. I swear, it DOES NOT leak—I just wore mine for day 1 of my period and felt 100% safe. (note: I do have a lighter flow because I have an IUD!)⁣
⁣
@periodaisle is committed to sustainability and responsible manufacturing, and is B-Corp certified. I also love that the brand aims to be inclusive of all people who have periods, no matter their gender! 💗⁣

my cats truly are part of my family! we’ve been through health scares and shocking vet bills, so having pet insurance gives us that peace of mind.⁣

thanks @PetsBestInsurance for partnering with me and Kimchi! (Kiwi is not in this photo because he was on strike for a 50% raise in tuna treats, but he’ll pout about Kimchi being more famous than him later 😾)⁣

Instagram post 17877688520303515 #ad // pov: we’re on a post-pandemic coffee date and you’re telling me about all the times you almost gave yourself quarantine bangs ☕️⁣
⁣
one of the things I miss most about pre-pandemic life is going to coffee shops. the silver lining is that I’ve learned how to make my favorite drinks at home!⁣
⁣
when I drink coffee, creamer is a must. @honestogoodness is a new plant-based creamer that’s part of the B-Corp movement. it’s the perfect replacement for dairy creamers and tastes just as good (maybe even better, in my opinion!).⁣

I love that Honest to Goodness also gives back to the communities where their ingredients are grown by helping to promote reforestation in Madagascar!⁣
