5 easy ways to eat more sustainably

I love food. I really love food (as you could probably tell from my Instagram stories). And as my love for food, respect for the people who grow and make food, and concern for the environment grows, I’ve been trying to be more conscientious in the decisions I make regarding the food I eat.

Of course, our individual actions won’t halt climate change or reverse environmental damage without accompanying changes in government regulations and policies that hold corporations accountable. But making these small lifestyle changes can feel immediately empowering while we push for broader change, and that’s my hope for you (and for me)!

Happy New Year! Though the demarcation of time is a social construct and there’s not really anything inherently significant about the start of another trip around the sun, it’s always a good idea to reflect on what’s important to us, what we’ve accomplished, and what we want to work on.¬†

Here are my 2018 resolutions, followed by some tips that have helped me accomplish goals and establish good habits.

With the end of the year approaching, it’s a good time to slow down and reflect on the things that bring us joy.¬†Sometimes, it’s only when we pause that we realize just how much we have to be grateful for.

Here’s my list of blessings; I hope it inspires you to find the things that make you happy and hold them close, too.
